Years of research have finally paid off! Experiments have finally confirmed that time travel is possible, and it's even possible to bring animals back from the prehistoric past. You and several others are the top minds in your various fields and have been tasked to create a zoo to exhibit these prehistoric creatures. While some of you will travel back in time to collect the animals, others will purchase supplies and construct the zoo. The investment in your zoo and time travel has been substantial. Various grants, government agencies, and personal investors expect a return on their generous contributions. Use a combination of facilities and animals to create a zoo that will attract enough visitors and generate enough research papers that you can repay your investors. Are you ready? Zoic Zoo is a cooperative deck building game; so communication is essential throughout.
Choose a role.
Each role is played with 1 of 3 designated decks. You can build and specialize your deck by acquiring additional cards.
Take an Action.
Each turn you can choose one action:
Prepare by trying for a better hand.
Go to the Market and buy cards that will help you go back in time or build a better zoo.
Go back in Time to collect animals with your collecting gear and time machines.
Go to the Zoo and build animal enclosures and facilities.

Collecting animals requires (1) enough time travel power to travel to the appropriate era and (2) enough collecting ability to catch the animal.

Where you place cards affects how many visitors and research papers you bring to your zoo.

Once you’ve collected animals, you need to place them in the correct habitat and amount of space for them to be happy.
Each Round, the Time Stream Flows on.

At the beginning of each round the prehistoric animal cards move one place to the right. Soon, the first animals to appear are gone, either captured by you and your friends or lost to time.
When all the animals disappear, the game is over and you must give an accounting to your investors.
To Win you must Impress your Investors.
Each facility and animal you build in your zoo brings in visitors and provides research opportunities.
The question is, Did you bring in as much as your investors expect?
Where can I get Zoic Zoo?
At the moment, Zoic Zoo is in the process of trying to gain enough interest that we can launch a successful Kickstarter campaign for it. Kickstarter is a fundraising website where people like you can buy a product or donate money to an idea to help the production of the product or idea. In this case, you could preorder Zoic Zoo, and the money you pledge would only be paid if we meet certain goals and actually launch Zoic Zoo. However, in order to successfully do this we need 600 people interested in purchasing or donating money before we can launch a Kickstarter.
